Azalin's Shade: The lich-king's misty avatar in Barovia, which chased The Dark Three to the gates of Ravenloft, but was ultimately driven away by Strahd's shade.
Strahd's Shade: Strahd's apparition, gained in strength enough to manifest in the castle and on the grounds, who defended The Dark Three from Azalin's Shade. The Golden Dragons are as loyal to him as they are the countess, and his presence is all that keeps the lich-king at bay.
Rylasir the Quick Death (dead): A high-ranking drow assassin that failed to kill Countess Angelique, slain by Strahd's Shade and drained by The Brides. He possessed a ring that recalls to the nearest Ordo Shadow Door.
The Tome of Barovia (mentioned): The assassin of the Barovian chapter in charge of assignments and employers. Every chapter has one.
New Organizations
The Golden Dragon Horde: Vistani bogatyri (knights) from the steppes of northern Nova Vaasa. They are proud, fierce and loyal, willing to sacrifice their very lives in service to their liege. They were hired by Countess Angelique after the assassination attempt on her life and the growing influence of Azalin Rex, but prove loyal also to Strahd's Shade.
The Barovian Templi Nox: The Barovian chapter of the Ordo Templi Nox who dispatched Rylasir the Quick Death on a mission to assassinate Countess Angelique.

81b: Any combination of Diana, Renato, Isabella and a reliable witness trace the magic of Rylasir's Ring to the Barovian Temple of the Night. Beyond any mission of revenge, they seek the resident Tome, keeper of the local chapter's secrets, assignments and employers. With proof against The Children and Azalin, real moves can be made to expunge the enemies from the land by a united Barovian force (to say Ireena, Ashlyn and Angelique).
