13th Age Halloween One-Shot, 10/29/13

Hi all!

Just giving a heads up that, besides the schedule planned for Oct - December below, we WILL be having our annual Halloween one-shot. It will be run using 13th Age. It will be an adaptation of "Crown of the Lich King", the first level adventure in the Tales of the 13th Age organized play initiative.

But what's a Halloween game without a twist? You will each be playing one of the iconic undead races (zombie, ghoul, wight, ghost, whatever) and instead of seeking to prevent the crown from falling into the hands of our own resident lich king Azalin Rex the Time Lich, you're tasked with recovering it for him, thus granting him the power needed to further delay the Yth invasion of Cadavera (and maybe reclaim his little slice of the dark continent, too, which is currently in bloody civil war as the regional governors vie for control).

While we could get all fancy with custom races, lets keep it simple for our first go in the new system. I'll be emailing everyone the full rules PDF in the near future. Choose a standard race and make your class/background/one unique thing/powers/appearance thematic to your undead persuasion. You will be level 1, and may use one of the sample arrays for stats, so long as at least 1 stat is below 10.
