Dramatis Personae
A
Abelard (dead): Nors juggler of Dolphus-DeWitt's Traveling Circus and the one in charge of keeping the group sedated. He died in the conflagration at Bertrum Manor while seeking to recapture the group.
Abnen: The Dead Dog Bleeder who realized the error of his ways after Narra's mental jarring. He left the battle to rethink his life and perhaps get into baking.
Abum: Muscular, seven-foot-tall bouncer at The Mummy's Hand with a cold touch and a dead stare. An assumed member of the Hand of Doom. Whereabouts unknown.
Acantha (Spelltower): Beautiful, raven-haired elf and owner of The Seven Swans Inn. Fread's aunt and Elewoon's partner. Offered counsel to Kaylan on matters of the heart, and was appreciative of Portia's efforts making Fread feel more comfortable with himself.
Afflicted Watchman (unnamed): An Edmarkian watchman who learned too much about the facility he was assigned to guard. The vast, psychic entity beneath the lighthouse attempted to silence him before he could divulge anything, but Narra, Gens and Kaylan managed to spirit him out and keep him alive. Gens deposited him somewhere safe where he'd be cared for.
Aldric of the Dark (dead): Also known as The Shadow Prophet, he was a pale, beautiful human warlock and chosen prophet of Hecate. Through dream visions he was instructed to resurrect Triglav, most ancient of archfiends, as the new exarch of the goddess, the one who would prepare the way for Hecate's awakening. He led a cult of witches, monsters and devils bent on such a purpose, but was thwarted by the group in their efforts to save Chiela. He escaped death in the Temple of Triglav, but was cornered in the bowels of Grymig Crypt. He fell on his own sword to prevent capture and defeat. He was a bitter enemy of Mara, despite their working together to help bring down Strahd years prior.
Alisandra (Spelltower): Human high priestess of Raya rescued from Loss. She questioned the group on the mint of their coins and the phoenix holy symbol Kaylan wore.
Alistar Huma: Mad prophet of the Nebul Jihad, The Nine Stars of Chaos, he is the last scion of House Huma, a menacing, bestial starlock that haunts Saspien's Ruins. He predicts the end of all worlds in nine years in a prophecy relating to Kalinda and The Devourer. Details were found in riddles and sing-song, other times in eerie deadpan, but Diana showed no fear and learned a crucial portent that somehow includes her (see Star Child hook).
Al'kek'uma: Hideous, canine demon standing twelve feet tall with intestine-like cords for beard and locks. He initially corrupted the Savanna with Blight, using it to command a legion of gnoll, demon and undead supplicants. He was defeated by the group and their Verger allies at the apex of Twisttongue Tower. There Jeda robbed him of the Blackheart and he fled into the great clouds of dust that uplifted with the tower's collapse. Whereabouts unknown.
Countess Angelique von Zarovich: Pale, beautiful dhampir noblewoman and current mistress of Castle Ravenloft. She is daughter of the infamous Count Strahd von Zarovich and sister of King Dante Il'spana of Saspien. Isabella spent the last two summers in her care, despite Victoria Il'spana's great dislike for the woman. She has access to a castle's worth of magic, gargoyles and mystery, a prize of knowledge sought by many factions in and out of Barovia.
Angernian Militiaman: Adolescent, spear-wielding cultist of The Green God. Giers defeated him in combat and spared his life. He was sent packing off into the Black Forest. Whereabouts unknown.
The Angry Ghost: A silent figure with a red demon mask who brandished the legendary blade Angry Ghost. He or she aimed the sword at Kaylan and promised blood, before sending his drow underlings to kill the children (unsuccessfully). Thamior and Kaylan fear in their heart of hearts it is none other than Takeshi, alive and very angry. He's also been training drow in the secret feladrin arts. Whereabouts unknown.
Anubians (race): Alien beings looking like impossibly-tall, impossibly-thin jackal men. They possess terrifying psychic powers and an understanding of technology far beyond any Othyrian artificer. They preserved the time continuum while the group fought the One Day War and reversed the time storm caused by the group's misuse of the Tesseract. They invented the hypercube and claim it was stolen, promising a reckoning with Reedthagn in the future, one the group will be a part of. They also predicted the group would be called on again to preserve time and space, as the Anubians have called on many similar groups throughout the ages. They deposited the group in the Darklands, on the edge of the Wild and Cadavera, on the road to finding Giers and Hulda.
Argentum: Ezariel's white celestial charger, who lets only the pure of spirit approach him.
Arik Swilovich: Barrel-shaped brewer and barkeep of Blood o' the Vine.
Arkith (dead): A brown mastiff the size of a rhino, he was the Lord of the Packlands and a king of the cu sidhe (fey hounds), as well as father of Bannoch. Died in the Battle of the Twisttongue.
Captain Arshagouhl (dead): Swashbuckling bugbear commander of The Hand of Doom's Screaming Caves cell. She perished during the siege on Crowperch Estates, where few, if any, Hand survived.
Dame Ashlyn D'Flores the Lady Raven: Formerly the head of the Lightbringers, Ashlyn has severed all ties with The Children of Light and formed The Raven Knights to guard the village of Barovia. She's quickly become one of the most important figures in Barovia, the militant backing of the burgomeisters across the nation. Thus far she's managed to keep Barovia safe, and intends on expanding once her keep is built. More impressive, thus far she's managed to keep her integrity.
Aspect of Baphomet (defeated): The demon-possessed form of the already daunting troll king Rend. Twenty feet tall, bulging with muscle, with wicked horns and a host of abyssal powers, he nearly wiped The Dark Three from existence, if not for the miraculous channeling of Mara through a desperate Isabella. Though defeated, the spirit of Baphomet lives on in the Iron Crown.
Atisshon: The sole survivor of Rend's harem, a Gloriandeline woman with a dagger, some rags and a head full of bad memories.
Empress Aurora Serenor: The Lady Behind the Curtains, she is the wife of the now late Emperor Issima Serenor and one of the oldest elves on Othyr. Her's is a beauty so dazzling it's as a walking star, and she must always remain concealed or else blind or madden others. She offered Kaylan kind words about her ancient family, and helped her son escape the Silver Spire.
Azalin Rex the Lich-King (mentioned): The undead sovereign of Barovia's northern neighbor Darakaan, he is undeniably the most powerful wizard in all the Cadaveran Kingdoms. He was a hated enemy of Count Strahd von Zarovich, and remains an unknowable power looming just beyond the Balinoks. He commands the largest army in the realms, as well as an order of spies known as the Kargat.
Azalin's Shade: The lich-king's misty avatar in Barovia, which chased The Dark Three to the gates of Ravenloft, but was ultimately driven away by Strahd's shade.
B
Baba Crech and Babe (dead): Despicable, crib-robbing hag and expert of black magic, Baba Crech constantly dragged around a toddler by the leg (turned out to be her disguised imp Babe). Devote worshiper of Hecate, she was aiding Aldric in the forest ritual, but perished under Kaern's sunblade. She was the fashioner of the black rattles, and had a bag full (claimed by Thamior).
Babushka Lead sled dog on the team which brought the group's supplies from Barovia to Ivlis Marsh.:
Uncle "Bart" Barthelemo: Half-elf co-owner of what was The Weeping Stone Inn. He's half-brother to Innkeeper Higliac and uncle to Petunia. He's been in hiding all his life just under the notice of Inquisitors and discouraged group from going to Provia, whose Inquisition presence was great. Since the destruction of the inn, he resents the group. Whereabouts unknown.
Bannoch: Slate-colored mastiff the size of a tiger, he is a cu sidhe adolescent and prince, the son of Arkith. He rose as a champion and survivor of the Battle of the Twisstongue and the new leader of the pack. He was exceedingly affectionate, especially with Hulda.
Bara: Vistani woman suffering from diarrhea after bean night. She met Kaylan by the Dumping Trees outside the Vistani encampment, where she offered a joke. Kaylan's rebuttal was so funny, the woman fell over into her own mess!
The Barber Trio: Three leathery guild barbers promised good coin from Terrence, but, when the gutter was killed, surrendered. They were eventually allowed to leave. Whereabouts unknown.
Boss Batenhk (dead): Bulging, ogre commander of The Hand of Doom's Screaming Caves cell. He won an eating contest with Hulda on the night of the group's arrival, and lost his prized maul to Hulda in a game of dice the following evening. Died during the siege on Crowperch Estates, where few, if any, Hand survived.
Bathild (dead): A skanky camp follower of Dolphus-DeWitt's Traveling Circus who often serviced Abelard. She died in the conflagration at Bertrum Manor looking to recapture the group.
Battlestorm (time rift): Young warforged soldier with blades on his forearms, shoulders and joints. He stood a head taller than Relic, sleek steel body with red-enameled accents. He was a hothead, but good at heart, and idolized General Ruin.
Bearded Lady (dead): Hairy, militant lesbian of Dolphus-DeWitt's Traveling Circus who wanted Isabella for her perversions.
Belesana Doveel: The pale, redheaded precentor of the Chapel of Lust, a vampire of fluid movements and ample curves partial to flowing, ephemeral robes. She tends the Pequid idol and leads the lustite congregations in song and orgy. She took notice of Isabella's beauty and thought to test her arts as anguiness. The girl passed, earning herself a good word with High Priestess Widofa Lorein and a place of honor among the congregation.
Archduke Belizeez (mentioned): Archduke of the Endless Feast, Hell's Fourth Ring. Once known as The Minister, Hell's envoy on Othyr, he was banished by the Saviors and replaced by King Dante Il'spana. He's since been promoted to the Lord of All Gluttony. He's also DeWitt's father.
Sister Bereatha (dead):
Mama Bernardo (Spelltower): Mr. Bernardo's old mother and a genius chef. She was an old friend of the Blackwing family and adored Christopher.
Mr. Bernardo (Spelltower): Jovial, Pricilli owner of a small bistro on Spelltower's south side which entertained Diana and Christopher, as well as Selja and Filias. He was an old friend of the Blackwing family.
Bethany's Mother: A Norswoman whose mind has been so tampered with she equates the empire with her daughter Bethany, misplaced love and devotion which seems to have driven her mad.
Biddy Barton (Spelltower): Old elven witch living near the Rayan temple. She was on iffy terms with Alisandra, but allowed the priestess and the wounded shelter in her enchanted house.
The Blackheart: A fist-sized piece of smooth obsidian tied intimately with Cadavera. It has a decidedly female personality which calls itself Adej, the tiefling shadow of the one who woke her: Jeda. She is one of a series of planar gems possessing untold powers, including shadow conjuration and nightmare visions. Last seen with Jeda, and used during Kaylan and Selja's abductions and subsequent rapes. Whereabouts unknown.
Lord Blackthorn:
Blaster: Rheen soldier and member of the Vergers, who acted as Portia's shoulder perch for the Battle of Twisttongue.
Bli: Dire bear companion of the hill giant Fruga. He was initially menacing, but a gentle creature at heart. He was freed from the Bearhead Hall with his mistress, a friend of Relic and Diana.
Blight: Demonic artifact mace with an evil sentience. It is intimately linked with Falst the Witherer, demon lord of entropy, decay, radiant and necrotic energy. It tempts people to wield it, infecting them with the unholy seed that could germinate into Falst reborn. Was used by Al'kek'uma (though wisely never physically wielded) to power Mangletooth, the first of his evil towers and the one which kept the Savanna sick and withered. The mace escaped its servitude through the group and was taken to Reedthagn at the Tesseract. Reedthagn used the mace as blackmail to ensure the group would retrieve Ghisidhran's tongue, and is currently housed in his deep vaults.
Blightwarped Minotaur (dead): A nameless minotaur mutant twisted by Blight's dire radiation, slain in Mangletooth Tower after having raped and ripped apart dozens of helpless female sacrifices for sport of the gnolls.
Blitzwing (time rift): Young warforged scout with telescopic vision, heightened senses and stealth jets. He was a head shorter than Relic, with indigo metal accents, and proved much more patient than Battlestorm. He idolized General Ruin.
Bloodbelly: Faerie dragon who ate all of Thamior's rations. He vanished after Ghisidhran's defeat, when the fey dungeon beneath Blackdelve phased out of Othyr. Whereabouts unknown.
Blon (dead): Satyr that raped Kaylan with a co-conspirator during her drunken wanderings of the Verger camp. He was killed during the Battle of the Twisttongue.
Grand Inquisitor "Bloody" Bluch:
Bray Martikova: Owner and innkeeper of Blood o' the Vine with a curious raven feather token about his neck. Understanding and entrepreneurial, he catered to the group no matter how strange their makeup.
Bremen Wright: Nors toddler of noble blood and Percival's younger brother. He was to be a sacrficie to Raggamoffyn, but Thamior saved him. In his blind joy, he called Thamior father and allowed the elf to hug, carry and dote on him. He was reunited with his brother and presumably taken home via Ezariel's powers.
C
Ciir (Spelltower): Gruff, half-elf ranger and member of Elewoon's investigatory party out on the Saindoron Plains. He owned three hounds. He thought the group was crazy for all their time travel talk, but otherwise found Thamior amusing. Nearly perished in the tall grasses when he stumbled on several, very large foulspawn.
Frederick Changeling: Unnamed fey impostor who appeared as Frederick during the group's first exploration of the Wild. It tried to kill Hulda and Giers, and caused all sorts of angst between group members. Whereabouts unknown.
Cherub (Spelltower): Cute, nameless infant with white, feathery wings, a halo and a tiny bow and arrow who possessed several in The Watchman's Ease throughout the course of the party's stay. He mentioned something about being on a mission of love, trying to ensure three destined couplings. Relic nearly squashed the thing, but ended up letting it go out of pure disgust (it peed on his face and had quite the sass mouth).
Chiela: A blond, green-eyed Nors girl of six and Tyvis's little sister. She was kidnapped by diabolists after having found a pretty red ruby to give to her brother on his birthday, a ruby that turned out to be none other than the stolen Hellheart. She became bait to lure Tyvis to Barovia, but was saved with the help of the group. She is a symbol of innocence and purity, one of the few things keeping Tyvis going.
Chokloth: Luscious, naiad sister in the freshwater grotto beneath Blackdelve. She took a shine to anyone who visited them, begging them to stay. She vanished after Ghisidhran's defeat, when the fey dungeon beneath Blackdelve phased out of Othyr. Whereabouts unknown.
Captain Christopher Blackwing (Spelltower): Tall, dark, handsome human captain of the Scepter Guard from an illustrious line of military men. Diana saved his life after finding him in some wreckage at the opera, and he was forever smitten by her beauty and compassion. He took Diana on her first date, giving her a magic dagger and a keepsake necklace to always remember him by. The sorceress spent the last of her time in the floating city enveloped in his loving arms, having in turn become quite smitten with him.
Chrysaor (mentioned): An ancient, eldritch entity beyond even the scope of gods lurking in the center of the Void. Tiberius could only liken It to the blackness between stars, the cold, dark infinity of space, the formless chaos of prehistory. It despises life and light, which has corrupted and sickened It. It initiated the God War, fathered Laz and Delilah (and incidentally is the 'grandfather' of all demons, undead and aberrations). It succeeded in killing most of the Old Gods, but the defeat of Its avatars prevented Creation's total annihilation. According to the warforged, ten years in the party's future Chrysaor returns and finishes what It began, destroying all worlds and leaving Othyr a wasteland. The warforged believed It was somehow guided back to Othyr and the party should seek to prevent that at all costs.
Claw of Tsojcanth (dead): King Rend's second-in-command, who came to inspect Isabella before her audience with his master.
Colta: Young bay mare freed from a locked stables back in the Darklands, which now serves as Selja's mount.
The Conjoined (dead): Two deformed hyena demons fused at the heads, serving as lieutenant of Al'kek'uma's forces. It oversaw the burning of Tifana, but was slain when the group returned.
Couatals (race): Winged, rainbow serpents some ten or more feet long and entirely infused with magic. They were created by Kultuss for the God War, but developed such love of life and nature that they turned on their father and joined Lordanna's forces. They are subsequently despised by all dragons on an almost instinctual level. Couatl detest defilers of nature and will not tolerate them if they can help it.
Crematia Golgora: Pale, psychotic beauty and admittedly DeWitt's lover. Portia caught her torturing a baby on marionette strings whilst spying. After kicking the shit out of Jeda during one of the circus shows, she was revealed to be something much more than human, having glowing red eyes and fiery breath. She again fought Jeda during the collapse of Bertrum Manor, when the floor caved and they both plunged into burning wreckage. She's truly a devilish mix between a bat and a crimson giantess, riddled with black spines and wrapped in molten chains under her control. She was impersonated by one of the emperor's puppets during the events in Edmark, having escaped death by Nors hands. Now a fugitive along with her lover Deloth DeWitt and most wanted by the emperor's forces.
Cyclops Forgemaster (unnamed): A fifteen-foot-tall, hunched bluish giant with a massive central eye who instructed the careful forging of King Rends plate mail. He was accidentally poisoned, though it had no effect on the hearty titan, and he ended up secretly selling Renato some of the new ore used in Rend's armor.
D
Dancy the Dressmaker (Spelltower): Squat, obese human dressmaker gifted at her work. She sold Selja and Thamior dresses. She wanted Thamior and Portia to kill her husband so she'd have sole rights to the shop, and was willing to trade a one-of-a-kind gown of phoenix down, but they refused.
King Dante Il'spana I: The King of the Night, he is lord of the vampiric empire both on Othyr and Tir'buk. His rule has always been challenged, largely because of his half-blooded nature, but also because of his soft, even sentimental, stances toward the kine/bestiame/non-vampires. He banned the consumption of humanoid blood and strengthened ties with the outside world, joining Saspien with the Northern Alliance. Though a new era of acceptance has risen in regard to vampires in the northern world, many perceive these gains a negative, especially during a war with the Holy Nors Empire in which Saspien is facing the brunt of initial conflicts. Coupled with the fact Dante is aging much faster than a full-blood vampire, his wife openly ridicules him, his daughter marred his reputation by shamefully killing herself (or so the public believes), rivals disregard him daily in court, and he proves unable to properly defend the Saspish Vale from recent Nors incursions, most believe (perhaps himself included) that his days as ruler are numbered. Izzy, through ritual, did uncover evidence that he loves her and misses her still, something entirely opposite her soul-selling mother. He may be involved in some sort of affair with the marquess.
Dar (dead): Satyr that raped Kaylan with Blon. Died during the Battle of the Twisttongue.
The Dark One: Being of shadow and wind who inspires primal terror with its very presence. It destroyed The Weeping Stone Inn searching for the Hearts, and would have claimed them if Ezariel hadn't managed to open a dimensional door for the group to escape. It found the group again in the Darklands, where it nearly claimed the Hearts if not for Wildheart's heroic efforts. It will keep on pursuing the group until it has all the planar gems, of that they are sure. Whereabouts unknown.
Dazeen the Uniter: Elven prince of the former Gloriandeline Empire with knowledge on how to unite the Hearts. He is the son of High King Gloriandel and presumably Kaylan's uncle. Dazeen currently lays within a tomb beneath Blackdelve Aslyum in ageless sleep, put there by High King Gloriandel for reasons unknown. Kaylan received a vision while in the tomb showing how to wake him via three elven relics, a circlet and two rings.
Dead Dog Alpha (dead): A tall, bald, ugly Edmarkian and leader of the Dead Dogs gang in Edmark. He had a mouth on him, and managed some brutal hits (especially on Curck and Anita). Tyvis in his black dire wolf form ripped both his hands off, bleeding him out after having already been shot twice by the Liscari.
Deep Sashelas: Known by many names, including Old Man River, he is one of the Primal Spirits embodying water and rejuvenation, a healer and defender who makes the rivers, oceans, lakes, springs and falls his home. He manifested at Tyvis's call as a colossal octopus with a single aquamarine eye, many barbed tentacles and a beak large enough to snap a riverboat in two. His daughter, Dewdrop, now apprentices under Gens and Narra.
Deloth DeWitt: To the public a wealthy and dashing Nors rake, his true identity is that of a blue-skinned tiefling who profits from the vices of imperials: casinos, cruises, brothels, even carnivals. Purportedly the son of Archduke Belizeez, Lord of Malbolge, he's been acquiring uniques over the passed year for the experiments involving distilling. He was betrayed by the emperor on his return trip to Edmark and narrowly escaped with his life, losing his godengine and his prisoner in the process. Now the most-wanted man in the empire.
Demise: One of the most skilled assassins in the entire Ordo, considered the very best drow killer, and their defacto leader. Many suspect she is a Lord of the Night, a member of The Shadow Cabinet, though it's yet to be confirmed. She's dressed in painful and revealing bondage, leathers, piercings, six-inch-heels, with flowing, red hair and unusually black eyes. She offered Renato a chance to give up his revenge and join them, then sicked Zulthanza on the party while she attended to more pressing matters with the envoy of spiders.
Demons (race): Mothered by the Queen of Madness and Murder, demons are pinnacles of destruction and obscenity. As varied as mortal nightmares, demons come in all shapes, sizes and corruptions. They tend toward the extremely grotesque, and seek to make all around them reflect their cosmic awfulness. They corrupt through force of will and fear, versus the subtler game of devils, and are much more heavy-handed when it comes to politics and war. Their "saints", also known as The Demon Lords, are a terrifying collection of the worst beings in the universe united in one goal, the resurrection of the dark mother Delilah and the subsequent destruction of Creation, so that it might be reborn in demonic image. Most demons, though mindful of the race's goals, partake in the great demonic hordes and war efforts of their archfiends more for the carnage than any long term goals. Demons are, if anything, sentient appetites.
Devils (race): Molded by the Dark Six, divine embodiments of earthly vices, devils are sin made sentient, given vast powers and horrifying forms to capture, imprison and torture the souls of the damned. Their appearances vary according to their affiliation toward Lust, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Wrath, Pride, Gluttony or Dis, but they always retain at least some depraved mortal likeness. Though many souls are Hell-bound of their own volition, devils gain status and power by personally corrupting and collecting choice victims, especially the pure-turned-vile. They play a game of lies and intrigue, of seduction and politics, knowing how to pull strings and bring out the worst in mortals. It is much the same in Hell itself, where battles for power and status never cease. Hell is ruled by seven Archdukes and Archduchesses, all of them beholden to the Lord of Dis, capital city of Hell, whose current regent is Magog Serren Decipio. He sits beside the empty throne of Hell until which time Hecate wakes.
Dewdrop: Nixie daughter of Deep Sashelas and a lover of music and song. She is three feet tall, with shimmering dragonfly wings, lightly-scaled blue skin and deep green hair. She is lithe and fluid of gait, with a mystifying gaze, altogether stunning. Her apprenticeship under Gens and Narra is considered payment for her father's intervention during the battle on the Sly.
Dark Dibs (time rift): The haunted scarecrow of a grown, headless (gem-less) Dibs.
Dieter: Ispar's human disguise. See Ispar.
King Dokur: Tawny, lithe gnome with large eyes reflective of the night sky. He was appointed the new king of the savanna gnomes after Pongwa's death. He was originally the guide to Highmist Mountain, who befriended the group along the way and insisted on sticking with them to the Tesseract. He fought with the Vergers and proved himself something of a war hero.
Dolphus (dead): Former half-owner of Dolphus-DeWitt's Traveling Circus.
The Dominatrix (dead): Perverted drow warlock of The Screaming Caves who harried the group and baited them through several dark, trapped chambers. Portia slew her and stole her pumps, which she wears to this day.
Sister Donna (Spelltower). One of the impregnated nuns, victim of rupture demons, in the Rayan temple. She was purged of her pus sacs and fully recovered.
Drakes (race): The smaller, animal-minded cousins of dragons, drakes are a reptilian afterbirth much like kobolds, accidentally created by Kultuss in the wake of his masterpiece children. While lacking the magic and intelligence of their superior kin, drakes resemble dragons in physiology, possessing reptilian features and often wings. Drakes are marked from young dragons by some sort of non-dragon feature, as well. In the case of the flying drakes at Highmist, their telling features were feathers and beaks. Others have fur, hooves or some other slightly-odd distinguishing element. Drakes were native to Othyr thousands of years ago, but have since fallen into what many suspect extinction. There are, however, a multitude of planar drakes, largely found on the mirror worlds of Cadavera and the Wild.
Dreadful Penny (dead): A blue-skinned winter wight encountered in the Barovian Temple of the Night.
Drelzna von Zarovich: An ancient warrior-vampire of the von Zarovich line, older than even Strahd, who for reasons unknown was interred in the Sanctum Maleficum for thousands of years by her mother Iggwilv. For the last seven years she's waged war with the troll king Rend for dominion of her mother's dungeon, though her true interest is the Planar Nexus. There is a sense of loneliness about her, as everything and everyone she ever knew is now dust and ruins. Despite her adviser's disapproval, she accepted the three vampires' offer to deal with the troll king and the unknown mage behind the throne.
Droppedegg: Slow-witted faerie dragon with a crush on Kaylan. He vanished after Ghisidhran's defeat, when the fey dungeon beneath Blackdelve phased out of Othyr. Whereabouts unknown.
Drow Priestess of Tenebrous (unnamed, dead): Resident priestess of Tenebrous in the fallen library, a drow who adamantly believed in his divinity and possessed an array of killing powers which she attributed to him. She was taken as a prisoner for a time, but after all Isabella's promises and anticipation of her torture and execution, Diana saw it merciful to kill her during a battle under the guise of accidental.
Duck (dead): Circus hand for DeWitt's who died in the conflagration at Bertrum Manor.
Dust: The Saspish Temple of the Night's most famed killer, she is one of only three assassins to have ever have been afforded erasure from the Book of Life, a ritual which removes her name and presence from all history. Wrapped in bandages from head to toe, only those she's marked for death are able to hear her voice. Renato spotted her for a brief moment on a rooftop before she vanished, though it's unclear whether or not she had been staring at him. Renato suspects she may very well have been the assassin who killed Lady Savrano, the same assassin who his father attempted to fend off.
Dwarf Slave (dead): A dwarf slave who did her best to help The Dark Three in the harem chamber, but lost her mind in the presence of Baphomet and was mercifully ended by Renato.
E
Lady Ebb (dead for the moment): Vampiress wizard who served the Ordo for years as an independent arcanist, aiding in rituals and other spells of transportation and location. Imperious and proud, she died badly, but will return 30 days hence via the power of her magic cauldron.
Edmarkian Watchman: The guards along the Peddler's Bridge in Rivergate, Banwar, Leoth and Kolorgar. One was a Wright sympathizer, the other a dutiful captain, and the third an angry racist.
Sir Efflam Torban: Young knight of the Order of Morning Thaw, the Kalindian paladins of Atha. He is Selja and Portia's half-brother on their mother's side, and foster son of Archdruid Sev Torban. He came to Barovia by will of Lord Gravant Marr to aid the Lightbringers in retrieving the Sunsword. After being saved by Dame Ashlyn, and again by Relic and Giers, he made his way back to Atha with his two beloved sisters and some new friends.
Elewoon (Spelltower): Stunning, wise, understanding elf and an invoker of Raya. She led a party to investigate strange monsters on the plains, what was the beginning of the time storm, and discovered the group instead. She brought them back to the city and suggested an inn for them to stay at. Elewoon returned later to warn them of the rifts, as well as to check on her lover Acantha. She survived the One Day War and befriended Kaylan, giving her a magic lion's mane.
Eiath Gwyllion (mentioned): The Gnarlhags; Three sisters who share mind, knowledge and sentence, custodians of the new shrine and worshipers of Chernobog.
Emperor Endymion Norson (mentioned): Absolute ruler of the Holy Nors Empire, he is feared and respected throughout the continent as a cruel, calculating, and dangerously-inspiring demagogue. His conniving and instigation eventually toppled the millennium-old imperial monarchy, and he rose a militant state of zealots in its place, with him as supreme leader. Fanatical by all accounts, Endymion seeks a very literal interpretation of Nor's teachings: the unification of all human races and the extermination or subjugation of all other races. He rules from his throne city of Noran in the heart of the empire, and commands the unwavering loyalty of the Sons of Nor, the Church of Nor, and the Nors Inquisition. He is without doubt the most powerful psychic on Othyr, able to manipulate multiple puppets across the continent and conjure forth terrible telekinetic force. He harnessed ancient Anubian technology and forged infernal and draconic partnerships to rise to his position, and continues to utilize artifacts in efforts to distill himself an ambrosia elixir.
Envoy of Spiders: Once a lovely dark elf with chunks missing from her jaw and shoulder, bite marks its seems, wrapped in gossamer web. She represents a 'new player' in the Ordo's transformation from neutral order to dark religion.
Inquisitor Erig: Young secret policeman whom the group saved from the holding cells of the Angernian Green Cult. He despised his saviors for being non-human, but accepted their help in rescuing his sister Grenwigne from the Screaming Caves. He fought the group at Bertrum Manor, where Portia spared his life and forced him to flee. Whereabouts unknown.
Madame Eva: Inhuman fortune teller and wise woman of the Vistani camp at Tser Pool. She is gigantic and hideous, with a creaky voice, who reads riddles and half-truths from prophetic cards.
Ezariel: Also known as the Stranger, he appears as either a tall, shrouded ascetic or a being of pure, white light. He saved the group from the Dark One back at The Weeping Stone Inn, and again in the Darklands. Ezariel later confessed he was a disgraced angel looking to atone for his failures by recovering the Hearts that were stolen on his watch. He initially thought it best to lock them away again in the heavenly vaults, warning their power was vast and not for mortal hands, but Portia vehemently insisted they were more than just inanimate objects, but living beings, children even. Her compassion won the angel over, and he agreed never to lock them away again. Instead he would protect the gems from falling into the wrong hands. Last seen defending the innocent darlings from an ongoing swarm of evil crows. Whereabouts unknown.
F
Faerie Dragons (race): Small fey looking like crosses between butterflies, cats and dragons. They come in a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns. They're capable of speaking Sylvan and are generally playful, curious, perhaps even sweet.
Fauna (dead): Changeling cultist of The Green God in Green Chapel.
Ferranifer Moross (mentioned): A powerful vampire necromancer and candidate for the position of Hecate's exarch. She runs the Kalindian temple in Etheria and sits on the city-states High Council as its most respected member. She is the mother of Giers and one of the many lovers of King Matthias of Niflheimr. She also mentored Kaylan.

Frederick is the father of Kaylan's baby daughter, Bella, making her heir to the Nors Kingdom.
Fruga: Hill giant witch encountered in the Bearhead Hall. Though imposing and putrid, she was a gentle soul, lured to the chram by a "big power" and kept there against her will for some sort of "big evil" ritual. He wanted the Hearts to establish himself as a god and knew of Kaylan's unique gift of attracting Hearts, as well as her lineage. He took Kaylan's finger while opening the seals to the Tomb of the Uniter, and she managed to trap him, and with her allies slay him. Before he died, the dragon banished Giers and Hulda to some unknown reach of the Wild. The group brought his tongue back Reedthagn, finding the wyrm had played his son false, raising him to hate and betray him all so that he could learn the true identity of the Green God: Sev Torban!
High King Gloriandel (mentioned, dead): Legends tell he was the first elf created by Raya, the one who discovered magic in the golden city of Glorian. He was crowned a king, then high king of all elves. He was the greatest wizard ever to have lived, creator of the Hoping and the Damning. He founded the Elven Combine and the Gloriandeline Empire afterward. Over time, he grew increasingly resentful of humans, especially their baser natures and the ease in which they could be manipulated. He fought in the God War, the Night War, the Dark War, the Sylvan War and ultimately the Autumn War where he was defeated at the hands of the god king Nor. He was father of great elven princes and princesses, including Dazeen the Uniter, Ilpa of Atha and the former queen of the dark elves Mab. He was Kaylan's grandfather, making her one of the last surviving heirs of the defunct Gloriandeline Empire.

H

They sought the aid of Taras the Shadow, and had known followers of a dark Outsider (presumed the Dark One) in their ranks. Operated in terrorist cells across the empire, which gathered in an unsubtle attempt to conquer Provia. They were betrayed, and a ready-and-waiting Yathnoc and his Imperial Dragoons destroyed them, perhaps entirely.

Harlow (dead): Angernian cult follower of The Green God who tried drugging Isabella.
Harnok Shir-narn (dead): The greasy, jaundice tiefling master of the Circus of Shadows, a pimp and drug lord who ran Ordo operations despite not being a member. Perhaps it was due to the weight of his lineage: son of Archduke Pequid, Lord of the Fifth. He kept Malvern Moritan as a pet and plaything for three years, and thanks to Renato was ultimately slain by the boy. He promised revenge against both of them, as he was sent back to Hell (and presumably his father).

Higliac: Old, blind, crippled innkeeper of The Weeping Stone. He was an imperial veteran, father of Petunia and half-brother of Barthelemo. Whereabouts unknown.

I
Iggwilv (mentioned): The Witch-Queen of Rakados, once the ruler of the ancient city-state of Izolda, she was a powerful archmage and demon conjurer in the days before the Gloriandeline and Nors empires. So powerful, she was able to summon demon lords and princes. She is the mother of Drelzna von Zarovich, whom she interred in her caverns of power Tsojcanth for reasons unknown. By the way in which Drelzna regards her, they were quite close.
Ignac (dead): Old, bundled-up watchman guarding the village bridge into Barovia with stick legs and an over-sized, gray mustache. He wielded a dim lantern on a staff and proved a devote follower of Tez, whose portfolio includes protection. He was initially suspicious of the group, especially the boggarts, and made everyone wait outside the village limits save Kaylan and Thamior. During the wait, half the group got to know him as dedicated, perhaps rude, but honest and protective. He was eventually revealed to be a ghost that died 2 years prior during Strahd's zombie incursions. Burgomeister Ireena was able to give him peace, and Portia claimed his supernatural lantern.
Imperial Dragoons (seen from afar, organization): Elite Nors knights who ride red dragons into battle, they are considered the premiere fighting force for the imperial army. They're headed by the Elder Red himself at Redcliffe. The group saw both the dragoons and Yathnoc during the burning of Bertrum Manor.

Burgomeister Ireena Kolyana: Striking noblewoman with dark hair and unearthly blue eyes, favoring well-made, flattering outfits and thigh-high leather riding boots. She is the last surviving member of Barovia's mayoral house. Diana helped her overcome her lifelong fear of vampires, enough to form an alliance with Countess Angelique, and she has since been reinstated after six month's house arrest by Sir Konrad's Lightbringers. Local rumor tells she was the former object of Strahd's love-crazed obsession, though how far that went or what all became of it remains largely a mystery. A staunch friend of the group, she respects them greatly and welcomes them whenever they visit.
Ironshadow (time rift): Veteran warforged techno-priest a little broader and shorter than Relic. He sports black iron accents and a piston staff topped with a gear. A kind and reasonable senior officer, he became close with Relic in the short time he knew him, and ended up calling him father.
Emperor Issima Serenor (dead): The first and only emperor the ancient feladrin people have ever known, he was the second elf shaped by Raya's hand and second only to the Highking Gloriandel in power and prestige. He withdrew from the Elven Combine when Gloriandel decided to enslave men, and warded the northern barbarians from his madness. He fought in every great conflict since the time of myths, even sacrificing his sacred white city Ivristel to win the Demon War. An elf of supreme honor, he kept two of Vaness' legendary blades: Simple Vow (bane of elves) and Angry Ghost (bane of humans). Such powerful and conflicting swords were as great a bane as a boon, and wielding both created a violent personality disorder in the Emperor known only to those closest in his family (and which Thamior may have shared with some of you). Issima was also the notorious feladrin terrorist Kyodai Ken, a hater of men, whose murderous attacks on trade caravans to Veluvia indirectly helped cause the release of Shalraza herself! The Saviors of the North were able to cure him of his other half, and Issima receded deeper into the Ilon Mountains. He was a guiding force for fledgling Atha, though many considered him cold and distant. However his final act, committing ritualistic suicide to atone for his son's sins, proved him much the contrary, a loving father willing to relinquish life everlasting for his heir. He wished his son well and gave him Simple Vow.
J
General Janisar al'Zareef: One of three generals of the vampiric armies, Janiser is of the summoner's house, though prides himself a capable dervish instead of his family's customary mages. His armies are gathered in the Saspish Vale, as opposed to the armies massed in Tir'buk and those in Saspien itself. He currently fights a losing battle on the valley front, trying to retake or at least hold the hills outside Lastlight, where Nors by the thousands are landing from imperial Tolerna, Liscar and Dalmera, and uniting with vampire hunters of the Order of Saint Gormite. He seems young to be a general, and rather dashing with swarthy skin and long black hair, though he wears a perpetual worried look, for there is much to worry about. He appears more loyal to the king than to his sire Kalfar, or at least he observes Dante as the highest authority in court, something many others do not.
Jasan Serenor: Thamior's nephew, son of Princess Ilari Serenor, famed feladrin hero who aided in the defeat of the crazed White Elder Khebozelluth about twenty-five years ago. His father is Buliwyf, another hero who rose to become The Barbarian King of the Roam. Tall, handsome, with long, platinum hair, he's more built than a pureblood fel and possesses softer features. Plans to deliver word of Thamior's heir to his grandmother in Ivristel, having taken the high priestess's portal north.
Jeda: Demonic, tiefling warlord and former group member, she possesses the Blackheart and the Quakeheart. Her exploits with the party included the first meeting with Reedthagn, the Battle of the Twisttongue, and the siege on Crowperch Estates. She always struggled with her conflicting natures, human and demon, and grew increasingly violent and angry over time. She hated Giers, hated DeWitt and really hated Crematia. She did, however, discover something like love with Ispar of the Hand. Thought dead in the conflagration of Bertrum Manor, she was discovered in the Darklands after kidnapping and raping Kaylan, as well as Selja, and implanting them with spider eggs. She's gone from blood red to ashen, her horns withered and black, the beginnings of some sort of transformation. Whereabouts unknown.

Jolo the Strongman (dead): Strong man act of Dolphus-DeWitt's Traveling Circus and Hulda's first human crush. After being kidnapped by the group, he began informing them on details of their kidnapping and was immolated through some oath-of-secrecy curse. He was transformed into a walking furnace zombie and slain.
K
Kaern (dead): Fallen angel and former protector of Barovia who gave up immortality and Heaven's light in an attempt to right the many mistakes she'd made during her watch. She was involved in the fall of Count Strahd, compassionate to a fault, going against Heaven's orders to see him deposed. What resulted was a power vacuum that left Barovia in a tenuous state, where men like Aldric and devils like Mara stood to gain unspeakable power. She befriended the group and helped them claim the fanes, in the process falling in love with Tyvis. She died facing Mara and was buried by her young love in the woods outside Barovia Village.
Sire Kalfar al'Zareef: The wealthy, eloquent and well-connected sire of House al'Zareef, an accomplished summoner and rival of the royal family. He challenges the monarchy openly at court and carries a large following among the city's envoys and officials. Dresses in the finest silks and opulent jewelry, and has a devilish appearance with his waxed beard and angled face.
Kasimir Bertrum (dead): Lord of House Bertrum, fourth most influential family in all the empire. He himself was a cruel, eighty-something human noble whose refusal to die angered his swelling collection of heirs, sons, grandsons and even great grandsons. He was noted for being paranoid, enough to move the city barracks next to his own manor on the ancestral estate. Politically, he was independent and wily, proven a cunning adversary for many rivals. He participated in the Secret War, where the noble houses and the church vied for dominion over the empire, and while on the losing side still managed to retain his power. He went mad with the destruction of most his ancestral holdings during the siege of his estate, and was slain by Thamior and Kaylan after refusal to surrender his elven slaves.
Karese (mentioned): Mysterious owner of The Mummy's Hand and possible affiliate with the Hand of Doom.
Kavan the Grim (dead): According to Eva's prophecy, the one who would be called Son of Strahd. He held the Von Zarovich sword as part of his claim, a beastly, hirsute and well-armored vampire who worshiped Strahd at the swamp fane. He despised Angelique after failing to take the Castle for himself. Cunning, he tricked the group into sapping their own strength too near the necrotic fane by feigning a simple-minded devotion. Still, two years in the swamps had made him weak and he died by the party's hands.
Kauthe Page (unnamed): A busty, impatient drow mage who sold Diana some of her order's excess potions.

Wields an orium tuning fork, which he uses to usurp minds.
Kilkpog the Gray Laird (mentioned): A gremlin lord over a thousand years the master of the mountain people of the southern Dawnspears. The golden idol Anita stole was a likeness of him, something like a goblin with big ears, big hands and feet, and rows of shark teeth. If a typical gremlin, he'd be bad news to encounter, with over a thousand years' of magic and garnered trickery, very bad news.

Led by a disturbed girl named Nel, their patron was a mysterious entity between the rows called Raggamoffyn. All those not killed at the Battle of the Mills were left tied up and helpless as the onslaught of crows attacked the town.
Klepper: Bravest of the Hand's goblin cooks and Portia's would-be suitor. He was clumsy, but not without cunning. Whereabouts unknown.
Kobolds (race): Three-and-a-half-foot-tall lizard men of various draconic heritages as told by their coloring (be it chromatic or metallic). In the days of the God War, they were an accidental afterbirth when Kultuss formed dragons. Cowardly unless gathered in large numbers or under a driving taskmaster, they survive on speed, stealth and cleverness, and have an affinity for traps. The largest known concentration of the beasties lair on Highmist Mountain, supplicants of the Elder Green Reedthagn.
Sir Konrad (dead): Late-thirty-something paladin sporting a red beard shocked with white, and who remained constantly dressed in plate mail. He marshalled the Lightbringers (with a lot of help from Mara). He was slain by Kaern, and subsequently replaced by Dame Ashlyn.

Kosurd (dead): Young, arrogant drow officer who joined in the siege on Crowperch Estates, where few, if any, Hand survived.

He helped the group return to Othyr by giving its Draconic name of Ot'geal'pan, and was subsequently stranded in Spelltower. Determined to stick with the group (and get back home), he offered information and fought alongside them during the One Day War. He fled the Dark One in the Darklands and hasn't been seen since. Whereabouts unknown.
Brother Kyle Tenner: Human Child of Light and one of only two survivors from the crater massacre. Dark Lavendar (Spelltower): Chaos-fed faerie dragon turned huge and wrathful under Lord Diana of the Lords of Chaos.
Lehm (Spelltower): Eldritch half-giant blacksmith with purple skin, a fiery red beard, and glowing arcane sigils across his skin. Since Ireena's reinstatement, Dame Ashlyn has take over and promises to work with the people as a peacekeeping and defensive-oriented order.
Lindsay Henry: Girl of fourteen who hid in the Darling schoolhouse and foraged with her little brother Patrick at dusk. Frantic and motherly, she was always concerned with her brother's safety. She begrudgingly helped the group hideout, then aided at the Battle of the Mills. She was presumably transported to safety by Ezariel.

The Little Man Who Wasn't There: A dusty, short old man, skinny and in burlap rags, with an over-sized pyramidal basket hat to keep his many scavenged trinkets. Encountered on the border of the Gray Kingdom, he insisted he wasn't there, and proved either insane or in on a joke the party just didn't get. Gens ended up giving him Kilkpog's idol as part of his collection. As he wandered away, some noted he'd a copper, reptilian tail peeking from under his robes. Whereabouts unknown.
Brother Longeas: Once an unreasonable elven Child of Light, the exposure of Zarephath's evil softened and humbled his demeanor. He named Isabella redeemed in the eyes of the Children of Light and promised to speak on Barovia's behalf to his brothers and sisters. An Etherian ally.
Lord Loradan (Spelltower): Silver-haired elven mayor of Spelltower who slept with Kaylan just prior to the One Day War. He initially fled the rifts like a coward, but tried to make it up to the group, especially Kaylan, by returning with a hundred Spelltowerns to help clear the chaos. He might have loved Kaylan, but quickly understood she had chosen Thamior. He wished her well none the less.

She interrogated Takeshi every few hours, though it was suspected she was doing other things. She interrupted an attack on the group and was slain by Marzonn and Zulthanza, though her murder was pinned on the group. The group has been marked by the Hand ever since, if any survive now to hold a grudge.
The Lords of Chaos (time rift, organization, mentioned): The alien-possessed group from a nightmarish future, sent by Chrysaor to kill General Ruin and wipe out the last race of Othyr, the warforged. Each member is considered more of an it and thus titled a lord, their number including Lord Portia, Lord Selja, Lord Kaylan, Lord Diana and Lord Vilthamios. The group fought the twisted Lord Portia, and thanks to the strength-sapping Anubian pyramid were able to defeat it and seal the final rift.

He also forced the slave-princess down on him, exerting power as slave of Pequid over a slave of lowly Mara.
M

He demanded the act of killing Harnok be his, despite assurances by Regina he was no killer. Three years of rape and torture changes people, and Malvern derived immense retribution from the mutilation of the greasy, jaundice half-devil. He even pried the small, curled brass horns from the monster's head to wear on his own, Renato having earned another loyal assassin. Malvern currently delivers Renato's will to the Circus of Shadow, pretending his orders come from an indisposed Harnok. The ruse will not last forever.

He was last seen in the clutches of Yathnoc, though his death was never confirmed. Whereabouts unknown.
King Matthias of Niflheimr (mentioned): One-eyed warrior skald and lord of the frost giants. He came from humble beginnings, an Athar human raised by giants, at first for sport much like a pet, then with growing admiration as the boy developed into a capable young man and eventual Savior of the North. He possesses the Glaive of Giantkind, is the single-handed slayer of Araret the Blue Elder Dragon, lover of many, many, many women and father of just as many bastards. He sired Hulda and Giers. He married Jarless Northstar, daughter of the former giant King Rhathgar, from whose lineage Matthias derives his title and claims. Though often contested for his crown by disgruntled giants (who despise being ruled by a man) and would-be usurpers, he has thus far bested them all.
Young Matthias (time rift): Future king of Niflheimr minus the gray and plus an eye, sucked out of a time before the Demon War was won. He was a perfect specimen of Athar male, much to the fluster of the group's ladies, and proved to hold only two things in esteem: honor and booty.

That dolly turned out to be Raggamoffyn, used as a false idol of her will and a means to keep herself in power. Nel was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of resistant children and grown-ups, sacrificed by the Kindred and buried under the pews (between the rows) and then out in the corn fields. She went catatonic after facing her crimes and the light of Kalinda, and was executed by Diana despite much debate and disagreement.

He appeared elephantine, gray, muscular, with two massive, curled horns used to impale a summoner and a face perpetually shadowed so only blazing eyes and a wide grin were visible, glowing even. She has recently fled to Saspien and the protection of Castle Saspien while the war rages along the vampiric coast and within the Sea of Embers, her daughter acting as her remote hand. Anita saw him out of town where he looks to make a new life... probably.
Oshay Nambi: A friendly Umabi traveler who offered a particular root gum to Anita for the pain of her broken nose. It numbed things right good. He sought to keep the boggart sisters as leverage over Sev Torban, but the group escaped his clutches through a sudden and unexpected use of the Tesseract. Yet she must have some skill as an assassin, skill unseen due to a clever administration of paralyzing poison by Renato. Count Strahd von Zarovich: The quintessential vampire lord, bolstered by artifacts and the energy of three ancient fanes. Unlike Othyrian vampires, he contracted vampirism as part of a curse after killing his brother Sergei out of lust for Sergei's wife Tatyana. The deed slowly drove him mad over centuries of isolation in his keep. It eventually inspired him to kidnap Ireena, who he believed the reincarnation of Tatyana. He was slain three years ago by a stalwart band of misfits and outcasts, but his spirit lives on in the Castle somehow. He visited the group in their dreams, biting each of them, taking something from each of them, in the process terrifying (and in one case) fascinating them. Selja became particularly enamored, thinking the count might be able to teach her how to develop her druidic powers, but the group never dared spend another night under Ravenloft's roof. He was once a vampire of considerable power slain in the Demon War by Shalraza herself, only to rise again with the coming of Gabriel to serve as shepherd to the reborn vampires. That said, he's a staunch supporter of the king and all other Il'spana in office.

It was suspected he was having a very short affair with Lhekrina.
Taras (mentioned): Elder shadow dragon and son of Ferenefef, ancient dragon lord who acted as vessel for Rathven the Hunger during the Night War. Taras was once the familiar of the sorcerer Nailo, late ally of the Saviors. Near the end of the Demon War, he was infused with Chrysaotic power enough to reach ancient adulthood. He acted as Shalraza's guardian in the Pyramid of Time, where he fought and fled from the Saviors. He is a sworn enemy of them all, especially King Matthias. In recent years, his name has surfaced along with a new breed of purple dragons. He is the father of Marzonn and Zulthanza.

He had been the familiar of the dragon sorcerer Nailo, a late ally of the Saviors, but turned on them for his and his god Kultuss' greater glory. He was defeated and sent fleeing back into the shadows by King Matthias, who always felt the fight unfinished. There were frost giant parties that hunted for the shadow wyrm, and a great reward set for information on his whereabouts, but Taras was not found- or heard from- until nearly two years ago when his brood Zulthanza and Marzonn were discovered aiding the since-defunct Hand of Doom. It seems he has entered some agreement with the Ordo Templi Nox, posing as their dark god in their evolution from neutral assassins to dark religion.

Renato gave him a chance to live, by joining him in a new Ordo of his making, which the old creature agreed to when faced with an alternative of death.
Tom Barber: Master of the Edmarkian barber-surgeon guild, a dapper and trimmed Nors more concerned with coin than race or creed. Had some attitude after all the war and horror he'd scene. He cannibalized General Ruin to rebuild Relic.
Vergers (organization): Alliance of gnomes, rhreen, cu sidhe and satyrs sworn to free the Savanna from the tyranny of Al'kek'uma. Though their army was largely demolished, they were victorious in toppling the demon towers and expunging the canine demon prince with the help of the group.
Victor Grymig (dead): The Lord of Ghouls, he was a beloved husband buried in the Barrenpine Semetary over 500 years ago only to rise again as a ravenous undead. He fashioned himself a ghoulish monarch and was aligned with Aldric, but perished under Kaern's sunblade.
Queen Victoria Il'spana of Saspien (mentioned): Forty-something human queen of the vampire capital, she is known for her legendary temper and penchant for cruelty. As a young girl, she was sold to the Al'Zareef, experimented on and made undead. In her early adulthood, a wish granted by the dark djinn Que'Nihal restored her humanity. She is the mother of Isabella and wife of King Dante Il'spana.

Inquisitor Videl (dead): The apprentice of Bloody Bluch, a Lord Inquisitor of the northern Heartland and enemy of Tyvis's family, she was famed for her cruelty and sword mastery. Vrock (alias): A powerful vulture demon freed from the Barovian Temple of the Night who, at first, proved cordial, despite his presence tarnishing and aging everything around it. He and Isabella played questions, during which he divulged the connection between The Children, The Ordo and Darakaan, as well as the nature of Ebb's Cauldron, and in turn seemed very interested in Mara's dealings. He incidentally divulged that Queen Victoria Il'spana had sold Isabella's soul to Mara for some dread secret, one the demon greatly desired to know, though he never found out as his aura collapsed the temple. He escaped to a realm unknown.

High Priestess Widofa Lorein: The decrepit high priestess of Hecate in Saspien, one of the few remaining Loreins with any real power to their name. She was not always so, an ancient vampire baroness of a long-dissolved barony many thousands of years old who had removed herself from the political scene, but, with the rising of Hecate she, like many in her house, leaped at the chance of new-found power through the infernal faith. She oversees the Seven Sects of Sin within the goddess's main Saspish cathedral. Thus far, the Queen of Hell regards her as worthy and she holds many strong ties with the fiendish elements in the city.
The Wildheart: A fist-sized, smooth emerald tied intimately with the Wild, it merged with a faerie frog to better relate with Portia. It has a decidedly male personality, a soft-spoken, extraordinarily-green boggart around sixteen or so. He was named Hoppers II while still a frog, and goes unnamed as a boy by the one who woke him: Portia. He is one of a series of planar gems possessing untold powers, including plant manipulation, animal summoning and healing. He also acts like a key to enter and exit the Wild. The gem led a suicidal charge and saved the group from the Dark One in the Darklands. He hasn't been seen since. Whereabouts unknown.

X
Y

He has been meddling in the affairs of Othyr for thousands of years, beginning with the War of Whispers. He fought on Shalraza's southern front during the Demon War with the demon lord Kal'Tas, but was defeated by the unleashed Hoping army and sent into hiding. He is a recent convert to Nor and high on the chain of command of all the empire. He commands the loyalty of hundreds of red dragons, many of whom comprise the most elite soldier unit on Othyr: the Imperial Dragoons. He also protects a part of the Raiment Lordanae, the armor Lordanna wore in her battle with the Mother of Demons. He appears as a vague, grandfatherly figure around thirty to forty feet tall composed entirely of the natural world around him. Tyvis encountered him in the Black Forest, where he consisted of hundreds of animals carefully piled and linked, from wolves and bears to field mice and sparrows, wrapped in trees, roots and other flora. He speaks in many 'voices', the tweets, chirps, growls, wind, fire and rumbling earth which collectively form language. After eighteen years in wait, he's chosen Tyvis as the next Archdruid of the Heartlands, and has pledged to be his guide and adviser.
Yiri Okawa: Trusted handmaiden of the Empress Aurora Serenor, sent with Thamior, Kaylan and Relic as they fled the Silver Spire. She had the amazing ability to bend space, fold places on top of each other and allow for a more powerful 'fel step'. She nearly died from the effort, though, but was saved through Kaylan and Relic's healing ability. She's a frail-looking thing with short-cropped, cyan hair and pal white skin. She favors a white kimono with a large, pink ribbon around the waist.
Z
Zarephath the Guardian Star: An aasimar [also known as deva or half-angel] left in charge of the Temple of the Wheel and by extension the Barovian Children of Light. Friend of Templar Giers, he hails from Etheria, strikingly beautiful to behold with a voice like the clarion trumpets of heaven itself. He was exposed as a traitor to Kalinda's tennants and stricken from grace by the goddess herself. He was then cast down into Hell for his betrayal.
Zulthanza: Purple dragon daughter of Taras and twin brother of Marzonn, one of a previously unheard of dragon species. She acted as a representative of her father to the Hand of Doom, courted by the Screaming Caves in hopes of alliance. She hated the group and wanted to eat them slowly, most especially King Matthias's brood. She attacked the group in their rooms and killed Lhekrina, pinning the murder on the group and drawing the ire of the Screaming Caves. She was part of the Hand's siege and last seen in the clutches of Yathnoc. Whereabouts unknown.
